The FSU Testing Center is administering the TEAS exam for both FSU and non-FSU testers due to its on-campus requirement.
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is an aptitude assessment developed and maintained by Assessment Technologies Institute Testing (ATI Testing) that aids in the selection process for college admission.
The multiple choice test covers English, Math, Reading and Science subject areas. The math portion covers whole numbers, metric conversion, fractions and decimals, algebraic equations, percentages, and ratio/proportion. Reading includes paragraph comprehension, passage comprehension, and references/conclusions. English covers knowledge of punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, contextual words, and spelling. Science covers science reasoning and knowledge, biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, basic physical principles, and general science.
TEAS is offered daily by appointment only; fees are assessed during registration and on the day of the exam:
On the day you take your test, you must present two forms of identification (ID) in order to be admitted into the testing room. Please ensure both forms of ID are active (not expired).
Finally, please review our Testing Center Rules before arrival.
